We started working on our poetry books in Language Extension today. They will be creating a book using the poetry they have written. This will be done exclusively DURING language extension and computer time.

This is separate from the Book Report. All book reports are done during students' free time. This could be at home or at school. However, I will not give time during my class to work on it (If all their work for the day is finished, I generally allow them to work in the computer lab). This book report is different than my other book reports because it is not using an entire book, rather, it is using pieces of books.

The book of poems they are creating using their own poems will be done entirely at school.
The book of poems they are creating using other authors will be done entirely at home or during free time.

If you have any questions, please contact me! I'm trying to make it as easy as possible to understand for students, parents, and me!
